History
We are the third generation of artisans, and we carry in our hearts the passion and legacy of our predecessors.
From our workshop in Barcelona, we have preserved the essence of traditional craftsmanship, while embracing innovation by introducing new techniques and processes. This balance allows us to create pieces that reflect our rich history and our commitment to excellence in every detail.
Since 1965, we have been inspired by the past, but our sights are set on the future, where every piece we create is a testament to our creativity and dedication, and a tribute to those who came before us.
Techniques
At Glassgourmet, every piece of glass we create is the result of passion, skill, and dedication.
We immerse ourselves in a variety of artisanal techniques to make sure that every item that leaves our workshop is exceptional, reflecting our passion and dedication in every detail.
From blown glass, where we mould hot glass with precision to create elegant and organic shapes, or borosilicate ideal for cocktails or pieces subjected to thermal shocks, to the thermo-melting technique, which allows us to melt by gravity and create different pieces.
Each technique allows us to express our creativity in unique and different ways.
One of our points of distinction is that we manufacture our own molds, which allows us to control every detail, from design to final production and most importantly, the INTERNAL TRACEABILITY of each piece and guarantee exclusivity and anonymity to our customers.
